Outreach

At Ambassador Church we want to have a great impact for the Kingdom of God in our local community and throughout the earth. Eric Swanson and Rick Rushaw ask in their book, The Externally Focused Church, “If your church ceased to exist, would anyone in your community care?”  We want to have such a great influence in our community and around the world that people would care.

By serving our community and the world for Jesus Christ, we are hoping to grow in “breadth” as more and more people come to know Jesus as their savior.   This is how we want to multiply our church.  In this section, you will find how we are multiplying through local and global service and evangelism as well as through planting churches.

Local Outreach

We want people living in Orange and Los Angeles Counties to know that they are loved by God and we are here to serve and show them the love of God.  Beyond our church wide outreaches, we want to see each ministry serve locally in some way. Below are a few ways that we are serving our community.

Global Outreach

“Glocal” is the merging of Global and Local outreach. We want to be a church that has a vision for both global missions (around the world), but also for the ministries that are on our doorstep.  Sometimes it is easier to focus on global missions and neglect the local because those in our community take more time and attention. However, Ambassador has a vision to reach all peoples of all nations and communities.  We are calling every person at Ambassador to be involved in some way in a “glocal” ministry

There are two opportunities for Global Outreach, the summer mission trip to Japan and working with Amor Ministries in Mexico.
